Rank order on the homepage and Favorites page reflects observed trader demand only. Affiliate relationships do not move a firm up or down those tables.

How links are marked

Paid outbound buttons use rel="nofollow sponsored" and open in a new tab. No partner supplies, edits or reviews the text on a firm profile.

Where firm facts come from

Only from the firm's own published rules, with the URL and the date we read it recorded on the profile page. We do not take figures from partners, press kits or comparison sites. Anything we could not source that way has been removed rather than estimated, which is why several profiles show gaps — see the methodology page for the status of each firm.

The conflict, stated plainly

Commission rates differ between firms, so we earn more when you buy from some of these companies than others. The protection against that is structural rather than a promise of good intentions: the running order comes from observed demand data, not from us, so there is no lever for us to pull even if we wanted to. What we can still influence is tone, and the honest position is that most people who buy an evaluation lose the fee.
